I need some help on how to troubleshoot this problem. We moved to another location and switched from ATT to Comcast. Phones are working correctly but when people fax to us it does not work. Temporarily, I changed the routing table of the FAX numbers to the phone extensions and I was able to call the fax number and answer on the phones. So, I assume the porting from ATT to Comcast has been done correctly. I have brought up the AVDAP Monitor, but I don’t see it answering the fax number and converting to a TIF file, which I was able to see it before. When faxing form a real fax machine to the efax/vismail we get an error "No answer". Any suggestion on this?
thank you

Point the numbers to an analog station port and connect it to a regular fax machine for testing.
Ask Comcast if their circuit supports faxing. It's most likely VoIP and the answer will be no.
