Samsung OS7030 V4.41a in the last few days calls will go to a mailbox and the system will reply "Recording cannot be made at this time".
If we reset the system, it will function correctly, but then revert back to not taking messages and saying "Recording cannot be made at this time".
Has anyone seen this before?
What do you think?
Can we shut down the voicemail through IT tool and default the voicemail and start over?

Only thing I can think off is mailboxes are full you might have to get customer to empty old messages I normally set mailboxes to delete old messages at 30 days. And second part to your question no you cant use IT tool to default mailboxes you need to log on via https//:ip address

Thanks Jerry. The system only has about 30 messages total currently.
Yes, I know that you can't access the VM via IT tool.
I meant the http method. I guess I was referring to the link in the IT tool program.

I have seen that before and had to do a nand erase and reload the entire system software but it fixed the problem. That has to be done at the repair facility as I don't thing Samsung has released the sio reload procedure for the 7030.
Nameless, have they released that in your neck of the woods?

Samsung don't tell us much here, but I have the information. I got from someone else on the board.

Thanks frodo,
I think that we may have to do that. This is the second OS7030 that we believe has been corrupted.
This site and another site have terrible power. Even with a battery backup attached, the power often goes off---the UPS's drain----when the power returns, I believe that it comes back on not smoothly at all causing system corruption. The OS7030's seem to be susceptible to corruption.

I have had to recover a couple of OS7030's that have failed during a software upgrade due to corruption.

I hate the nand only for the database. Give me an sd card or an eprom/esquare on the board for a known good default any day.
