I have gone through the how to guide of how to setup an Expansion Cabinet on an existing Officeserv 7030. Powered both off, set them both to Master and Stand alone. Powered them both on and set the IP Addresses. Master is 192.168.0.3 Slave is 192.168.0.6 Gateway is 192.168.0.1 Subnet is 255.255.255.0 Told each system the IP address of the other system. Powered them both off, set one as Master and set for Master/Slave, set the other as Slave and set for Master/Slave. Connected the official Samsung Link cable and then powered both up. The Expansion Cabinet will not connect. I have an EPM in each system and i am using the approved link cable to link systems. The digital phone on slave system is just stuck showing version info and clicking. Both systems on v4.53b Both systems work in Master mode Any ideas?? Thanks in Advance

Make sure dip switch 6 on the cabinet is off, otherwise it will default your ip address to factory each time.
Also make sure you haven't mixed up the order of the leads (the ones we get here are numbered at each end not sure on what the uk get)
2 cabinet OS7030's are a pain

Single cab's aren't too bad, good for an ip capable replacement for the dcs408 for example.
The price difference between a 2 cab os7030 and a os7100 is neglible here so we don't bother with them (all the issues they had with firmware prior to 4.4x and the cpld 2 cabinet issue didnt help)
I do know they have a higher return rate then the rest of the OS7000, and have had more issues too

I'm sure when you boot them up in stand alone mode you need to set the dip switches on the epm to both ON, once configured set the dip switch in master cab to 1 ON 2 OFF and Slave cab 1 OFF 2 OFF.
Are you using key phone prog or pcmmc?
