We have a customer that has all its calls front ended by the auto attendant on an SBX IP320. Last 4 or 5 months we have had complaints of people dialing and extension off the auto attendant and the call going to a different extension. We worked on changing several settings in Nation Specific, RX Gain with no success. Tech support suggested defaulting the voice mail on the slim chance of some sort of corruption which we did, no change. The customer is on Verizon copper dial tones which we tested and they were a little hot on the line voltage side. We advised the customer to consider going to a cable carrier, which they are going to do, install on 6/4. Has anyone else out there experienced this issue and did the new lines solve? Thank

Probably cell phones in spotty service. It is a bit sensitive but not to that degree.

No, happens on land lines as well, more pronounced if on speakerphone, but happens either way.

There are settings with the gain etc that needs to be adjusted for this. Did you get from tech support?

Been through the various RX Gains several times, no help. We just switched this customer from Verizon copper to Cablevision, problem gone. Not the first time I have had this happen.

Your customer was a victim of tone twisting.
