I have a splitter that I successfully used to put two analog phones on a home phone line. Tried to use the same splitter to put two phones on a work phone line. It doesn't work. At this point, I don't know what kind of phone system that is being used at work - all I know is that the phones are Avaya Model 9504. Is it even possible to put two digital phones on the same line?

Thank you for confirming that a regular splitter designed to split an analog phone line will not work with two digital phones (not enough power for both phones, I assume). Anyway, I found this, https://www.staples.com/XBLUE-4-lin...Phone-System/product_884457#desc_content, a digital splitter which is clearly designed to connect 4 digital phones to one digital port. Does anyone know if there is a similar device for Avaya digital phone systems?

We have an Avaya digital phone system. I don't know what it is. I have a call in to find out. What I do know, in the meantime, is that Avaya Model 9504 phones are connected to it. We would like to connect two phones to at least some of the digital ports instead of just one phone.

@ NewCompany, like BOB and Matt has already said........ not going to happen on any Avaya system digital port.
Also, if you don't mind, are you an end user or owner of the system and why not contact the company that installed your system?

I read that you can have more than one phone on an Avaya Partner digital phone system port, but only one of the phones can be digital - the others have to be analog. So it does appear to be possible. Unfortunately, the system that I am concerned with at the moment is a newer Avaya system.
