To upgrade from a Mics 3.0XC to 4.0XC is as simple as swapping out the Software Cartridge or is there more involved than that?

You might want to back up your data, ANYTHING can go wrong.
As cheap as software is, why not upgrade to 7.1?

As well as using a step by step method of upgrading or re-programming from scratch...

They would like to have Hunt Groups and I believe Hunt Groups became available in 4.0...hopefully that is correct.

If they do go to 4.0XC from 3.0XC is it a total reprogram or is it a Cartridge Swap-not sure if anyone specified as of yet. Thanks

Yes just swap (power down first of course), no upgrade tools required.
