Can someone verify the steps to transfer a call from Trunk to Trunk (Both Loop Start) and for the transferring party to drop out of the call allowing the 2 outside party's to continue. Here is the instructions that I have:
A Trunk-to-Trunk transfer can be established by the following operation: 1. While talking to an outside party, press Hold. 2. Access a second outside line and dial the desired number. 3. Press Transfer to complete the Trunk-to-Trunk transfer.
Program 14-01 Trunk to Trunk Transfer is checked Program 20-11-14 is not checked Program 20-11-21 is not checked
Is there something that I am missing? Thanks

Do not press HOLD!!!
Hold is hold and transfer is transfer... two different things.
1. While talking to an outside party, press TRANSFER 2. Dial 9 + the desired number. 3. Hear ringback tone? If so then hang up.
You should see both CO line keys stay active for the duration of the call. (assuming you have direct line appearances and not CAP keys).
