Ok, I know when we first got this unit (a couple complete resets ago), when plugged into a line simulator we had Caller ID, may or may not have had it once we got the trunks from Comcast (this was in February I just don't remember). MPB Version looks to be 1.00-AFE2 (which from what research I've been able to do is old old). I do with a single line phone see caller id data, so probably need to drag my simulator down here (no plain service in the building to test with), unless there is something I turned off when I reset the system, have put the button to toggle display on one phone that the lines ring on, still just "line ringing" displays, have the ring delay set to 5 (was at 6).

Welcome to the world of VOIP providers with their soft switches and older phone systems. Likely you'll get the CID display when you test with your simulator but won't from Comcast. Vodavi had addressed this in firmware in the later units but still it would not work from a number of CLECs.
The software release of the system does not control this except for some minor timing issues. You might give them a call and ask them to set CID start @ 750ms. I've had this work in a very few cases. Outside of that you're probably not going to get it to work.
Look at the firmware on the CID card and let me know. I think I might have some of the newer cards laying around. You might email Ricardo @ Vertical and ask him if he remembers what firmware version is needed.

The answer to this was a replacement line card with CID Module.
