Welcome to the board! Please add your company's website to your profile so we can get to know you and you should start getting some replies. The question of EVMC or external may prove to be an interesting discussion here. My personal preference is the external box for various reasons.

Is the EVMC locking up or are all the ports busy? I'm with MacGyver on this one, considering you are at the add a cab point. External seems to work best for larger systems from experience.

The external Enterprise Messaging server is the way to go. The EVMC is meant for low-traffic, smaller companies w/ low user needs. With the EM server, you can outfit it w/ all the ports you will ever need and buy Unified Messaging licenses with or without faxing. E-mail text-to-speech is also available. They can be outfitted w/ redundant hard drives (RAID 5) and w/ redundant power supplies.

as i understand even if all 4 ports were busy it still should not lock up the evmc card.you just have to wait untill a port was available. were can i get more info on the EM server, does this work with the AXXESS system.
