I've have managed to link a Legend R7 with 200 stations to a Norstar ICS with 50 stations. It doesn't work all that great, but it does work.
I've also managed to sell the customer on upgrading both systems to a single IPO. But they don't want to upgrade all at once, so the first stage is replacing the Norstar.
So far, using Tech Tip 134, I've got my test bench Magix working with an IPO but I'm having a bit of trouble.
1. CID display on station to station calls don't seem to work quite right. Magix > IPO calls seem to work ok, but IPO > Magix, DNIS is displayed, not the ext. CID and then only when pressing "More" to look at the trunk info.
2. The short code to dial out on from the IPO through the Magix doesn't work. I think it may be something to do with the ARS tables, but I'm not sure.
So far I've been unsuccessful in creating either a short code on the IPO or an ARS table on the Magix that works.
Anyone with the knowledge needed care to make a suggestion?
