Hi there, Having a strange issue that I haven't been able to resolve as of yet and NEC is of no help to us, leaving our customer waiting on us (me) to figure it out.
We have an SV8100 with an IPLA32 and would like to be able to register a 3rd party SIP softphone (Bria on iPhone) to the SV8100 and be able to call extensions, etc.
We are able to get the softphone client on the iPhone to register to the SV8100, but we do not have audio.
What I have done so far is port-forward RTP ports to the IP Address of the 1st DSP Resource. Even tried throwing the SV8100 into a DMZ on the firewall.
Not sure what else to try -- hoping the smart people here are able to assist. I can provide much more information if required. Feel free to PM me, as well.

here in europe NEC does not support 3rd Party SIP extions to register through NAT mode. they tell us to use a VPN Connection. only DT700 (NEC IP Phones) are able to use NAT mode. hope this helps.

The only 3rd party SIP client I have successfully got working on a SV8100 is the 3CX one. I gave up on Bria..
