G'day all, I have a slight issue with a SV8100 VM8000. A mailbox on a handset is pushing a voice message notification onto it. When you try to gain access, the mailbox states 'This mailbox is busy, goodbye.' I've deleted the association between the mailbox and the handset in question (which stopped pushing the notification) so I know its a personal mailbox issue. I've tired gaining access from another handset and the same result entails. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Cheers from Down Under, Chalky

May need to reboot the VM00 card.
First try going into "Server Control" and stopping the VM Service and restarting it.

VM8000 is the Inmail. The only way to stop it is to power off.

So would you recommend restarting the system? I'm hesitant to as its a DHCP IP SV8100 in a shopping mall and the handsets here have difficultly reconnecting.
If it may help ill do it tho!
Cheers! Chalky

On the Activevoice NEC products, that usually meant that the user was logged in via laptop and by telephone, or from two phones at once.

Did a restart and that helped.
Spent half an hour going around and checking the phones but all is fixed now so happy me, happy customer.
Thanks all for your input.
Chalky.
