Hi
Can anyone recommend how to view and edit a inter-tel or mitel database that has been backed up?
It is saved with a .intl extension but seems to be an MS access database .accdb file. However, it won't open in MS Access 2000 or 2010.
Thanks
Cammy

Rename the file, giving it a .zip file extension. Unzip the file, and you should be able to open the Remote1.mdb file.
You should be able to view the data, but I wouldn't recommend trying to edit and upload data to the system.

It probably needs Access '97.
I have successfully edited the raw tables once when I had a lot of other backups, and I needed to reset the voice-mail monitor password that had scrozzed itself.
But in general, that was a last ditch attempt, but it was successful. I wouldn't recommend editing and uploading, especially if you don't have the correct version of Access/JET that the tables are saved in, and you don't know what you are editing..

Thanks. I need to enable email notification for future posts as I've just discovered these replies.
Cheers
