Just accessline, works well. Wish as much could be said for the MBX.

Yep..agree on Accessline. Works fine from the get go with no problems running day to day. Still trying to get Windstream going though...It's not on the approved vendor list from Vertical.

RBF,
I'm in Michigan and I've successfully used some non approved SIP vendors with the WVAE and SBX and MBX.... I do use an Edgemarc router in front of the phone systems in each scenario.
So far, we are doing ok..
The Tech of Southwest Michigan Stevensville, MI 269.277.8103 How do I get the blue smoke back into the system??

I know this is ancient subject but SIP on SBX seems to be a dead subject. Did your Windstream SIP trunks continue working on the SBX? Reason I ask is I'm having difficulty with NexVortex on SBX, that is keeping it running. For unexplained reasons the SIP trunks stop working and there is no reliable way to get them back up and running. Reset Comcast modem, system, VOIB. Re-enter IP on VOIB. Re-enter SIP2 table NexVortex registration information. Factory no help. What's your experience? [email protected]

Only did SIP on the WAVE not the SBX. There is a post in this forum somewhere about the cause of SIP failing after a period of time on the SBX. I'll try to go and find it.

Thx. Currently have this issue before Vertical Tech Support. Having them double check my work. May have to bail on the SIP on SBX. I have now been unable to call out on SIP, only receive for a month.

Update: SBX still not sending Authorization Digest Username to SIP provider - NexVortex so no outgoing calls on SIP. Incoming works fine. Has worked for a year! Replaced/reprogramed everything - still no go. NexVortex comes to the rescue! Instead of authorizing outgoing calls via auth name and password we are now using public IP. NexVortex enabled "IP Screening". Still waiting on Vertical Tech Support on why SBX will not send Auth Name.
