I have a 9.002 axxess system with a PRI from USLEC and a SLC16. I have a problem with an echoing sound or tunnel sound on the other side. I also had a report of a problem with not being able to send faxes or receiving partial faxes. Modem's were not communicating as well. This problem with the faxes and modems occured before, but clock sync errors appeared in the error logs and reseating the T1 card fixed the problem. This time these errors did not occur. This is the only error that was in the log was: "-01:325- 07:05 09-19 M6050 WRN EG OS OS Request (OPEN): Unexpected Status (Port In Use)" There also hundreds of CS History errors and a few ES errors. I change the line build out to -7.5db which is recommended by Inter-tel per the installation manual. The T1 errors seem to go away, but the M6050 errors are still there and are numerous. People are still reporting the "tunnel or echo" sound on the other end. I hope this makes sense. Thanks!

Everyonce in a while i get that complaint. Usually a reset of the phone system fixes it. (that's done at 12:01am on a daily basis).

What tweaks can be done and where to prevent this?

M6050 refers to a software error per my secret book. What other errors are showing up on the error log?

Easy stuff to check would be verifying the chips and part numbers are correct on the T1 card. Maybe the T1 card is bad? As 'beholder' was saying, is your system scheduled for resets?

Staying logged on to programming causes all sorts of problems because the system cant reset. Make sure you always logoff. Just some suggestions and thoughts.

Thanks for your suggestions and thoughts. I do have a reset scheduled twice a week. I am really the only one that logs into the system. Whenever I do I do not get rejected as if someone is logged in.

Thanks
