Customer has a BCM 400 4.0 with analog trunks. They have six A&R lines they want to put on a 1140E IP phone. I know the 1140 only has 6 keys and with two intercom keys, that only allows 4 other keys to be built. There is an expansion unit available for this phone. Can lines be add to the expansion unit so the customer can have the 6 B1 line appearances on this phone?

Yes they can be added using the KEM.
You can add up to 54 additional lines/feature keys per module if you shift thru 3 screens of 18 keys per screen.
Up to 3 modules are supported per phone.
