if using the basic mode not the partner mode will an etr card work. i have the system set up as used to be called basic not the partner mode for the 7.0 sd card- I have the 5410 sets but trying to make the 3920 cordless to work.

I'm too confused to give you an answer. Basic is Partner mode, at least it is now. I don't remember what the hell basic used to be. Avaya needs to get their act together, they can't even keep their names straight. doh

Is basic and partner the same. I think they are different, not sure though.

It used to be Essential edition Partner mode or something like that. Then I thought Partner was changed to just "basic mode" getting rid of the Partner name. Anybody want to guess why?

So AFAIK basic is Partner. But then again they could have changed it again yesterday just to keep us guessing.

I am not running the system in partner mode, because I am able to use the 5410 sets, I asked if the etr card could still be used if not in partner mode, sorry for the mix up, I can't keep stright the names either, thanks for the help

I did understand your question. The ETR card is not supported in anything but Partner mode.
