Afternoon! Has anyone found an effective way to protect the old style MP10 from hacking? I am getting complaints from some users that they come in the morning to all phones ringing and all lines tied up.

I know of many Samsung OfficeServ's that are protected by a product called Control Phreak. The web site is www.callista.net. This has proven to be very effective against hacking and has stopped large losses due to toll fraud.

Turn on did err tone. I'm assuming you have sip trunks with the sip port forwarded. Sip trunks route via the did table by default, and anything that is not in the table gets sent to the operator group by default. This setting changes it so the system will send error tone back to the source if there is no match in the did table for the digits received
