There was a bug found while having Email Notification enabled with InMail, causing the SV8100 to crash after a few weeks due to corruption.
Version 6.03 or higher corrects this issue. ----KB 9819
Also this is a KB on the DSX but applied to an Aspire system I had. There are some network issues that may cause this type of event. These include but may not be limited to:
A Duplicate IP address when something else on the network has the exact same IP address as the IP address of the DSX system. Either device should change its IP address. This sometimes happens when either device is given an IP address from within the same DHCP pool range of IP addresses manually and then DHCP hands the same IP to another device automatically. Ideally the DSX system should have a "Static" IP address that is outside of the DHCP Pool's range so that the DHCP server will not automatically issue that IP address to any other device.
Excessive Broadcast or Multi-Cast events. These types of packets are sent to all or to a large group of devices. If a device on the network has an issue that causes it to send excessive amounts of either of these, this may cause the DSX CPU to become busy responding to the messages and not have the processing speed left to keep phones up. The device on the network causing this should be removed or repaired.
System's Router has Port Forwarding of UDP 5060 set to the local IP of the DSX, but a hacker is sending a SIP Registration request to the system several hundred times a second. The best way to combat this on the DSX end is to make sure the system is at least version of 3.33 or higher.

Actually just found this: F121029003 - Specific Email Setting Cause System to Reboot, System will not recover until disconnected from the LAN this is specific to SV8100. This Field complaint is addressed (and supposed to be fixed) in V9
