I'm looking to get a phone for our conference room. Ironically this is the only room in the office that doesn't have a phone jack! (who designed that i'll never know)

Anyway i've been successful with getting a VOIP phone in another room running into a Linksys Wireless Access Point set on bridging mode which in essence turns the wired VOIP phone into a 802.11G VOIP Phone and it works great.

Since this is a big board-room style conference room i was looking for one of those triangle conference phones and stumbled upon the Inter-Tel Wireless Conference Phone that is wireless however it would need to be charged and moved into the room before use.

I'd like it to just be sitting there and perhaps a regular phone too (incase you don't want to use the speakerphone).

Can someone offer some suggestions? I'm sure i'm not the first one to ask this question.

Thanks in advance!
- Andy

If you have can get an analog line somewhere within 150 feet Polycom SoundStation 2W EX - cordless conference phone w/ caller ID might work for you, if there are no analog lines maybe someone could relate any experiences with an Black Box Auto Linc Up Conference - transceiver to convert analog to digital.

Well i was looking for a phone that would jsut be added as an extension to the system. Is there a conference phone or conference accessory that could be plugged into an Inter-Tel phone? like the headset jack or something?

Thanks,
Andy

The Konftel 50 connects to Inter-Tel phones similar to connecting a headset and do not require a separate phone line. I have three of them in my office. Here's a link...
