I have a customer that has a CTX100 running the latest 3.10 software that their processor will allow. The system is pretty old and we replaced the processor about a year ago. What is happening when they choose a line button and start dialing, every so often one digit will not go through. You will know this as you will not hear the DTMF "beep", although the display will show the digit. Its one of those intermittent things where you can dial out 10 times and all go through but the next three calls will have the problem. All phones, DKT2000 series, have the issue. They have two PDKUs and calls from either card will have the problem.
Would this be a processor issue or should I look at swapping out the PDKU's? Where are the DTMF tones generated on a CTX100?

I used to have this problem when you dial too fast from a trunk appearance. Try the this. 1. Turn off dtmf backtone in prog 300. 2. In prog 204 change FB19 to 'not continuous' for all stations. If you dial 9 for Centrex then change the public dial plan to include the prefix 9.
