I'm being told the need to dial a 1 is controlled by our phone system. How do i turn off the need to dial a 1.

Nobody on this? Maybe I worded wrong. Is there a way to set in programming to automatically dial a 1 so that from the station phone they just dial the 10 digit number? Or is this something only controlled by the phone company?

That can vary for different areas. In Maine the phone company controls rather you need to dial the 1 or not for any in state call but all out of state calls need the 1.
You can use the phone system LCR to dial the 1 for you but that requires a tech that knows the Inter_Tel LCR.
