Hello Everyone, I recently purchase a LG GDK 16 System in the UK. But I'm using it in Laos. When I installed the system, everything works except the LCOB Card. I've got 2 analogue lines coming into the system. I've tested the lines with a normal telephone (hooked up a standard analogue handset outside the system), and I get a good dial tone. But when I hookup to the GDK System... No Dial Tone.
I believe it is the LCOB Card at Fault here, but I could be wrong. In addition, is there an issue of different telecom standards at play here? Since it is a UK GDK system and has a UK LCOB Card and I'm using it Laos. If not, my only guess is that the LCOB Card was damaged in transit, somehow..
Another theory is that originally the system was setup with an ISDN Card, which I removed and replaced with the LCOB. I've reinitialised the database, but is there some system programming setting stopping the LCOB for working properly?
Any Help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

with the 16/20s the first two lines on the system were always fixed for Digital /ISDN lines ( ISDN in Australia I am meaning/what its called here ).
Sure you are not plugging the LCOB lines into the first 2 line ports that are reserved for digital services?
