I am going out to a customer site to possibly add a PRI Card on there DSX 80 phone system (if there is enough room )
does anyone have a cheat sheet on what programs I need
I thought I saw a cheat sheet on this site a while back
I have never installed a PRI on a DSX but have installed plenty of them on Aspire SV 8100 I-Series
Thanks

I found a copy of the data base they have 1 slot available
slot 1 =16 port station Card
slot 2 =16 port station card
slot 3= 8 port co card
Slot 4=Unassigned
I think I will have to put them in a 160 KSU because they are looking at porting some faxes so I will need a SLIU card

You should have enough room if you are replacing the CO's with the PRI - gives you an extra card slot.
As far as the programming goes, it's pretty easy with the System Administrator software.
Card Slot Programming - Program 1213 - populate per carrier, Program 3101-DID/Wink, 3121-T1/PRI : *ANI*DNIS*, Program 3301 & 3302 are pretty self-explanatory to map the DIDs

Hi Ken
Thanks for the info .I believe they will be removing the C.O. Trunk card but adding a SLIU Card
I believe this goes over on the load factor by 1
1 CPU =12
2 16 port station =16
1 8SLUI=5
1 T1/PRI=8
total =41 /5Vdc Total =48/40vdc

I put in a 160 with PRI back in the summer. Pulled all docs off the DSX web site. Programmed all on the shop workbench then took it to the site for a test run after they closed. Had to have surgery to have the grin removed after in/outbound calls processed without issue. It's a sweet little system and if this brain dead Comdial trained old sailor can do it anybody can! I've been back to site 2 times and both were user issues. I replaced a full IP WIN system.

I believe there is a 32 station port max on the DSX80 so you will need to expand to the 160 pots
