My boss has a NEC Electra 192 phone system.

He has three phone lines, two in his main house and one in his guest house. He would like to be able to program extensions for the phone lines, so he doesn't have to dial the whole number.

Is this possible? If so what is required? Any information or guidance on this topic you could provide would be most helpful.

Thank You

A working Elite 192 can be set up to work throughout his house. It is definitely possible to make the guesthouse an extension on a system, and to share the phone lines through the phone system -- that's what phone systems are made for.

Depending on how the house was originally wired, it might even be possible without additional cabling.

BUT... It will not be possible for YOU to do it based on a few posts in an internet forum. There are a lot of moving parts in a phone system, and you are not going to learn them in a few simple posts. Class of service is likely to make you crazy, even if you figure out the cabling scheme and the hardware.

If you try doing this yourself, there is a 99% probability that you will find yourself in the attic with a headache asking yourself what the hell you're doing, while your boss says bad words to you through the heating vents.

The best advice I can give you is to call a professional. Look up NEC installers near you.
