I have a customer that I upgraded from an Axxent to an Axxess. They are running 6.0 software. It is a CPU 64 with an EVMC. Everything internally is running perfect. The problem is that outside callers are having problems with the Voicemail. While listening to messages system will say message deleted or other strange functions. I have replaced the EVMC,Processor and Line cards. I setup one trunk for checking Voicemails. Still having problems. The lines sound fine. Volume and clarity. They never had this problem with the Axxent. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you replace the hard drive? Have you tried reloading the software? What settings have you tried to tweak, if any?

I have replaced the entire EVMC. I have not tried reloading the software. The software was already loaded on the replacement. The setting that I adjusted were the twist settings on playback. That really messed things up. The phone company is supposed to go out tomorrow and check the milliamps on the trunks and see if the trunks are too hot. Do you think switching to a PRI would help this problem?

Switching to a PRI may or may not help. First thing I would do is monitor the line with a digit grabber and a meter.

If everything checks out with telco, you may want to go back into the Voice Processor DTMF under Timers and Limits. You would want to make the DTMF received less sensitive.
