Law firm users will be on the phone, other incoming CO's ring in at each set.
Is this programmed out under receive assignment?
Customer is not happy or able to conduct good business while phone constantly ringing while on it.

Maybe you should adjust ringing to the recept only & let her take care of the calls. That would stop the disruption.

So...does each lawyer have one line, or are the lines in a hunt group?

Ringing assignment is under "Ring Assign" in "Station Programming".

The system was discontinued about 10 years ago. And they are just complaining now?

But I reviewed the manual and don't see any way to adjust the off hook ring tone.

If you have a manual "users guide w/ feature package 2" look at 102.26 distinctive Ring (station)this might work for you.
Also is this a DHS or a DHSE if it's an E there is a feature called muted ring. Make sure

Is the receive assignment the same as co line access?
All three lawyers want to hear CO 4, 6, and 7 ring, just not when they are on their own phone and the ring is interrupting their current call.

Customer has hunt group now. The muted ring feature seems to be automatic. There is no section on programming the muted ring feature that I could find.
So, apparently if it is an automatic feature, it does not work very well on this Particular KSU.
