What did you all miss on the RJ-61? It's the method for trunks and stations on a DSX-40. The block/cable is an extra that you can order. It's available from the NEC supply houses.

Carl - hindsight is 20/20... As I'm not an authorized reseller / installer - I had to go through other channels.

Skip - thanks - I'll have to keep that in mind.. This is the 2nd time I've made my life harder by using Cat 6 cabling smile

You don't have to be "authorized" as the DSX is open product; just a pulse and a credit card. If you spent time looking at the literature, it tells you specifically to get the "kit".

I spend some money on the EZ-RJ45 system. It makes crimping RJ-45's less painful, but I'd just spend the cash on the block before I sat down to crimp all of those cable ends.
