Couple of questions, 7030 V4.46d I am trying to configure a gmail account for a customer to email an OOH message. I have configured with 4.60 before but understand this has a tick box for tls/ssl encryption.
1)Does 4.46 have TLS/SSL securtiy as an option?
2) If so, can i just change the port number?
3) Can i input server name(v4.46) as the host id (activity log displays invalid address, the address i'm using is smtp.gmail.com)
4)If tls/ssl not supported via voicemail can i configure with a gmail account?

4.46 does not support SSL.
Gmail, however, does have a way to send without using SSL. Check their knowledge base for sending email from a printer or scanner. It will provide instructions for using a gmail account, but will allow the use of a different smtp server.
