How do I program a Valcom Talkback System to work with an SBX320IP telephone system? I'm assuming it uses a CO trunk which I would have to program into a different trunk group than the other trunks. How do I make it possible to access the Talkback System from the phones? How would I program different zones and use them? What buttons would I put on the phones for this system? Is this simply an external page button with different zones?

You are correct, you would interface the systems together using a CO line port on the SBX. The simplest form of access would be to just have a button on the phones for that CO line.

Thank you, Ed. How would you use different zones?

Depending upon which Valcom talkback system is being used, the user simply picks up on the designated line button, receives dial tone from the Valcom unit and dials the appropriate code for the zone(s) desired.
