i am really new to Asterisk coming from the Traditional PBX world. I am trying to figure out out the best way for multiple calls to the same DN on this phone. Is it possible to have a second button set up for the second call so you can switch back and forth the same as you would if the calls were on two seperate lines?

Seems like you'd need more than one voice path in any event. With just one DN button, you may have a problem transferring a call. That said, I don't think I've ever seen ANY model Cisco phone with fewer that2 DN buttons,
Sometimes the thoughts in my head get so bored, they go for a stroll through my mouth. This is rarely a good thing.

JBean, the 6901 non-display phones only have one line/DN but that would not really apply.
