I am going to switch the cards in my ACT to the PC Card Large. Will I be able to restore the voice mail greetings and AA Greetings to the new card or will I have to reprogram the entire Data and greetings?

The word "entire" doesn't entail much of anything on a PVM Card ….. there isn't much data.

But yes you do need to start from scratch.

I would change the batteries in the ACS
and do a back up if you have the card
so you dont lose the ACS programming on the shut down.

If the processor is an R8 or an R7 running a later version of software, the AAA batteries only function to keep the "Replace Batteries" banner off of x10 & 11's displays. smile

Thanks guys. One more question. I have 2 of the Remote Access, Upgrade, Backup/restore cards. How can I find out what upgrade is on the card? If I plug on of these cards into the ACS R8 unit will it try to upgrade to the version on the card? My cards are numbers 108319963 12G1 and 12G4 RAC R685.1

Not knowing the history of those cards...I wouldn't use them. Back up/restore cards are inexpensive on the secondary market. The remote access feature is almost impossible to get to work properly. Avaya added the jack to allow the connection of an external modem.

So I would purchase a standard back up/restore card.
