I am upgrading an existing 540 to a 3350, both version 9. I can connect (using a serial cable) to the 3350 but not to the 540. I am using Siemens Manager E version 10. The weird thing is that I can connect to the 540 using Manager C version 9. Any help would be much appreciated.

have you checked the baud rate set in the manager e and manager c, are they the same?
