Client has an old DCS w/ an expansion cabinet. When a call comes in it rings to group 500. After 3 rings the phones in 500 stop ringing and the call disappears from the display (but does not disconnect), then after aprox 3 seconds all the phones in group 500 start ringing again.
I called in from my cell and watched it continue through the cycle for 5 or 6 reps, and the call never was directed to the general mailbox - 500 set to overflow to 529 after 35 seconds,
Have tried a new power supply, and a new DLI card that holds all the extensions in group 500.
Any Ideas what size hammer I need and where to whack it?
We've got you by the Calls!

Might seem silly but have you tried a new phone

You're at that time with a DCS that they start doing the strangest things. 99.9% of the time it's the expansion cabinet that causes problems. I'll PM you some things to try to narrow it down.

I've had some strange problems in the past that have been cured simply by creating a new group
