Ok, let me start by saying we have been having problems with our unified messaging for several months now and our local provider has done a craptactular job of trying to solve the problem. I can be logged into the Stratagy ES software version 4.8.0.3 and I get a message "Server Shutting Down" and it boots me out. The symptoms have been that sometimes voicemails get stuck in the phone instead of being emailed or they will show up in the email box several hours later.

That being said I don't know if it is contributing to my problem or not-

We just switched to a hosted email -office365- from microsoft. We cannot seem to find a way to change the ports from default for SMTP, etc so that we can just direct dump to their server which would be optimal, so we set up an internal SMTP relay to send it on to them. This worked perfectly in our testing but now that we have made the switch and our onsite exchange server is now offline it's no longer working. Since the ES software shuts down about ever 15-30 minutes I don't where the problem is so I am looking for any tips in trying to resolve the issue.

Thanks!!

Well I would say that your first order of business is to find out why your Stratagy resets so often. That is certainly gonna cause alot of problems with messages getting delivered. Once you get that figured out then you can use the Stratagy Trace program to troubleshoot your SMTP problems. There is a smtp_gateway parameter is the system parameters that will let you specify the port number you are sending on.
