I need a little help with an operator terminal on an IDS 84 system. We just replaced a non-working terminal (screen miniaturized) with a working terminal. I thought when we replaced it the button programming would not change. However, the night key is now an "out" key (the button on the older keyboard says NIGHT, the button on the newer keyboard says "night/out") So now when they press the "night" key it gives them an outside line. Are those keys programmable? I know how to program the F keys but I just assumed the other keys were fixed. So what I would like to know; Is there a way to program the fixed night key on an Executone Operator Terminal?

Per my write up the Out and Night Key is shared. Press key to get outside line. Press Shift and the key to toggle night mode on and off.
And yes keys are fixed.
