I have a cix40 and i want to do a manual day/night.In mailbox 990 i have the standard "thank you for calling" In 991 i have the single digit selection. I want to play a completely different greeting when in night mode. I have created a mailbox 992 with the greeting and DIT dialing digits of 992 when in night mode. shouldnt that play mailbox 992's greeting?

Your DIT assignment won't know what 992 is.

Create a Pilot DN (Station > Pilot DN) of 992 (or any other number)

01 = Dialing Digits
Alternate DN = VM Pilot number (250 by default)
02 Voicemail ID = 992

Enter the pilot DN number you created in the DIT in night mode and it will ring to your night greeting.

Wiring Solutions has the right answer. The CIX system will not let you create a Pilot DN of 992 since that will conflict with 9 for accessing LCR. Just create a Pilot DN within the numbering scheme and you will be fine.

I usually just put a 7 in front of the mailbox number for the pilot. In this case I would make a pilot DN of 7992 with the VMID of 992.

Have not had the opportunity to try this yet.
When in night mode using this scenario, will the night greeting play immediately with no delay?
