Hello,

I need to add at least 10 IP phones to an Avaya IP403 with a release below 3.1 to the system. I would like to add the 4606 IP phones and the 4620 IP phones. What license or hardware modules would I need to get? I know this system is not supported, but their has to be some way to get IP phones on it, but I have just not been able to find that out.

You will need a VCM card, and the phones, that is all. On that older stuff there was no endpoint licenses, etc....

Great. Then to configure the IP phones could I use any new Avaya software or is their any web-based utility to set these up?

--Sorry if these are well know answers! I have not done a lot with IP sets on IP office.

Look on the internet for the VOIP deployment guide. You just point the phones to the proper call server. I dont remember the menu access for those phones (they have been discontinued for 6ish years)
