Lately, we have had a lot of complaints about the speaker quality on the ECX 1000's and 2000's. These customers are correct, the quality is not very good when conferencing between phones or intercoming. I was just curious to see if any of you guys had any similar experiences. It's getting bad enough that we are considering dropping the Encore CX line. Thanks for your time, I've learned a lot on this forum.

The reason for those issues is because that system is half duplex. That new Encore system is full duplex. Im not sure which release it is but that was one of the topics of discussion at the Intertel conference in Jan. You should be able to contact support if you are certified to get more information.
