We have the 8520 phones with the long volume button. If you press in the middle you can save it at that volume. The problem I'm having on three phones is that when the user press the volume down side of the button it says messages can't be retrieved or calls another work station. When i go into programming that under keymaps, I see that button can not be programmed. What has happened?? Please help if you can thanks

Swap the phones around and see if the problem moves with the phone or stays with the port.

I have swapped the phone and still the same problem. When I change the extension number is the only time it works correctly.

Have you tried defaulting the keys 395 or maybe station default 394?
