I have one analog extension on a MPB-E that we can't seem to get the stutter dial-tone to go away. The extension doesn't have voice-mail, but I did create a mailbox, send a message and then delete it.

We have also tried 662, 663 and 644. Any thoughts?

I wonder if you watch that station when going off hook through e-trace to see what is happening? I know how annoying that situation is because it seems as if they use stutter dial tone for just about everything.

Hi Larry, when going off hook on the SLT could you by some chance be pulling CO dial tone ? If you are then you will know where the problem is originating from. Good to see you.

Ed - I guess I could, but didn't think about it.

TJ - No, they have to dial a "9" to access the PRI.

Thanks,
Larry

its not in an ACD/UCD group is it? I think the SLTs if marked unavailable (566 i believe is the code) they will get stutter tone.

Stutter dial tone happens when you have a vm message or dnd or call forwarding all calls set.

I'm presuming that calling it from a display phone doesn't indicate anything?
