For rings until voicemail I set ours under system. timers and limits, system forward initiate, we have 22 seconds which is about 6 rings. It is a system wide setting. I think we are axxess 8 but I'd have to check.

DeWayne,
Does this timer issue have anything to do with this thread?
https://www.sundance-communications.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?/ubb/get_topic/f/4/t/001147.html

Im trying to figure out what your trying to accomplish. Your phone, 1161 and the other phone, 1160 are both digital sets correct? And what you need to happen is when a call is transfered to your station, you would also like 1160 to ring. It sounds like you got this to work by using a "System Forwarding Path" to forward the calls to a Hunt Group in order to accomplish two stations to ring. OK now, when a call is transfered to your phone, does the other station ring immediatley or after your set rings?

Is there any other purpose of this Hunt Group? It sounds like the Hunt Group Timers and the System Forwarding timers are conflicting a little.

You could solve this by deleting your System Forwarding Path to the Hunt Group and just keeping your VMAIL forward path. Then set up a "Secondary Extension Key" on the other phone. But this is assuming that your only goal is to have both stations ring when a call is transfered to your phone and then end up in your mailbox.

RCA, Yes the old thread above worked great. I'm just trying to extend the amount of time the phone(s) ring before going to voice mail. These phones are in a maintenance shop and sometimes it is hard to get to a ringing phone before it goes to voice mail.

Your question about ringing. I'm fairly sure both phones ring at the same time or so close I've never noticed the difference.

Reason for Hunt Group. The only other reason I can think of is when the system is in night mode my incoming line rings directly to these two phones. Durring the day it rings to the operator like the other lines.

Both phones are VOIP.

Thank you for all the help!

In your Hunt Group, what is the "Recall" set for and what is the "Recall" timer?
