Hey Gents, so Toshiba discontinued Support on DK 424's recently and I've come into a situation where I'm scratching my head.
We just recently switched to 10 digit dialing in our area. I've had no issues changing Public Numbering plans, and typically all of my DK 424/280's have had no issue with PRI or dialing 10 digits.
I have a client who is able to dial 9, then the 10 digits no issue. However, when you dial the first 7 digits, afterwards, you hear a dial tone again, then you enter the last 3 digits. If you dial fast enough you don't have the dial tone issue.
I can't figure out what would cause this or how to avoid it from doing this.
My other issue, they have Pooled Line Groups. They have a group 302 for Long Distance, and 301 for local. I cannot for the life of me figure out where to change the 301 pooled line group to allow 10 digit dialing. It lets you dial 9, then gives a fast busy.
I tried to go back in time to the geocities toshibauniversity website, but it's finally dead. Just figured I'd give it a whirl to see if any of you old school technicians have an idea of where I might start to look or how to resolve my two issues.
