We have a couple of small issues on a MBX. Any assistance would be appreciated.

1) Headset users have to press the on/off (speaker) button on the phone to accept or end calls rather then their on/off button on their headset. Phones are in Headset Mode.

2) Customer has XtensionRecorder devices from old XTS system. Users now have to manually turn off the recording from their computer instead of it automatically turning off after the call is over.

3) Adjusting the display brightness on Triad telephones.

4) Cannot use extension 1321. This is the second system we've had this issue. First system, we could not use extensnion 321. It automatically disconnects the caller. Is 321 a disconnect code?

Like I said, little issues but annoying nonetheless. Thank you.

1. That is the way it works unless you use a lifter with a wireless or bluetooth headset.
2 I can't address this issue. I suspect with an Edge phone or SBX set, it works just fine.
3. You can't adjust the contrast because technically, nothing much works with the Triad phones on an MBX or an SBX. No softkeys, most of the hard function keys don't work either. You cannot adjust the contrast for an SBX phone either, not that you need to.
4. There is no feature code 321 by default. This does sound like a glitch.

Derrick, thank you for your assistance.

1) It's weird, we are using lifters and wireless Plantronics which should have nothing to do with the MBX upgrade.

2) I will test that on an EDGE phone. Thanks for the idea.

3) I figured as much. I thought maybe I missed something in the web admin programming to change it.

4) Love glitches. It's one of the perks of this job.

Back to one... I may be telling you something you already know but don't pair with the bluetooth module if you want to use a lifter.

Derrick,

No bluetooth modules installed. We were able to determine that on the MBX, a user with a Triad phone using a Plantronics wireless headset does not have to change speaker/headset mode TRANS/PGM 610 and 611 for the headset to work. This was also affecting the XtensionRecorder. It was just one of those things when using the Triad phones on the MBX. Thanks again for your help.

George
