Want to know if possible to have the phone beep when a caller is already on the phone. Right now it beeps to signal the caller when another outside caller is caller. But when getting an IC call the caller gets a busy signal.

When callers IC each other and the callee is busy, the caller will hear a busy signal for 3 seconds. After the 3 seconds the callee will will hear a camp-on ring and a camp-on display showing who is waiting for them. The caller will hear silence or music-on-hold depending on programming and the display will read 'Waiting for Joe'. If the caller continues to wait and the callee does not answer, the callee will hear a camp-on ring every time the 'Camp-On Tone' timer runs out (default time is 15 seconds).

BTW, if you IC someone that is busy, you can set a callback by pressing 'Infinity 6' or by pressing 'Queue' on the executive sets. When the user hangs up, the caller will get a ring and display change indicating the callee is now available.

All the above assumes that IC calls are not forwarding to voicemail when the callee is busy and all other settings are default.

Check the forwarding path on the station. Is IC set to Yes or No? If set to No, that forwarding path is not affecting IC calls. Change it to Yes and they will be treated identically. I have IC and No Answer set to Yes, Busy and DND are No. This gives everyone the chance to answer a call before it goes to voicemail.
