Hello,

I am using NEC Aspire System and NEC 22B phone. recently i have purchased a headset(Platronics) and connected it to the phone. i facing problem with it. When i talk on the headset the other party is unable to hear my voice. is there anything i need to configure on the Aspire System for Headset. Please help me.

If i call Plantronics it wont be helpful. because first i need to configure on my system.

A headset should be plug n play. Make sure the headset you purchased is compatible with the Aspire. One other thing. I had a bad A-10 adapter cord on a plantronics headset recently. Maybe you have an out of box failure. Troubleshoot it.

we would also need more details about the headset, is it a direct connect model or one with an amplifier? some of the direct connects had different lead requirements and the amplified versions have compatibility switches.

Also, if you use the headset port you need a headset button.
