I had a hard drive go out on my Axxess 8.224 voice-mail system. It has the WinNT voice-mail system.
I put in a new drive, reinstalled the OS, patches, and Axxessory Talk (8.222). I went through the Rhetorex config okay, choosing the RDSP/4000 board as the voice board (my board doesn't have a sticker on the back, like I have on another unit). But it should be a 4-port system.
But, the next step according to the docs is to set the # of FAX ports installed. I have a Brooktrout TR114+I2V which I find is a 2-port FAX board, but the Rhetorex board config util doesn't ask about it?
On another VPU I have access to on another system, going through the Rhetorex board config, right after adding boards section it does give me the option to select the # of FAX ports (even though this particular system doesn't have a FAX board).
The voice-mail system is working fine otherwise, but the ability to do fax to email is gone. If I call in a FAX to a mailbox setup for fax to email, when the start of the FAX starts, the call drops.
Also, the summary.txt file in the D:\AVDAP directory lists 0 FAX ports. Which I assume is the reason for the call drops.
Any suggestions as to why the Rhetorex board config doesn't ask me about the # of FAX ports? Any way to set this info by hand instead of going through the Rhetorex board config program?
