Hello everyone,
Our system has been working fine, but suddenly overnight our main greeting (when anyone dials in from the outside) has been replaced with a greeting from the past stating that we are closed on a day in September (the person's voice is someone that hasnt worked here in many years).
The normal, main greeting doesnt seem to be the default anymore. Here are my questions :
1 - How can I find the options for setting the default back ? or 2 - Is this a system error from which we'll need to re-record the main greeting ?
3 - if this isn't a known system malfunction, do I need to change our passwords to prevent outside tampering from vendors, etc ?
Thank you.

Most probably you need to check the time on the system and also check the greetings on your automated attendant. I guess I should ask what kind of automated attendant is the system using? Is it Mitel's or a stand alone?

Its a Mitel automated attendant (Express Messenger).
The system's time is showing correctly, as I changed it for both the system and the voicemail this past daylight-savings. The phones show the proper date/time and I can call in from the outside, leave a message and the stated time/day is correct.
Where can the greetings be checked for the autoattendant to see if our normal greeting(s) are still in there ?

Issue solved :
inside of the administrator mailbox....under System Parameters, someone had set the primary greeting for the port. I reverted the proper port back to the primary greeting and everything is back to normal.
Password changed!
thanks for the assistance Rcaman

It sounds like the system is playiong a 'temporary greeting'. Assuming the greeting that was on there was the "Main Company Greeting", log in as the administrator, and make sure all ports are set to use greeting "1".
