I presently have an Axxess 9.1 system, 4 cabinets total, 2 masters linked, and 1 slave off each master. I want to expand the system with another cabinet (fifth)to accommodate some additional DKS extensions and single line extensions. I'm just looking to finds out what hardware is required.

You're done growing with the Axxess platform. When it was still supported, there was an ATM switch that permitted additional cabinets to be installed.
It's easy enough to add an HX5000 and network it to your Axxess, and grow off that platform, assuming you can still get an IPRC with network licensing.

Better hurry. Inter-Tel Axxess end of life is March 31, 2014. No more licenses. The was suppose to be last December but they extended it. Also Mitel v6.0 is not supported by Mitel when networked to ANY version Axxess system.

They say that 6.0/Axxess networking is not supported, but it works just fine. The only issue I've found is Dynamic Extension Express not working when dialed from Axxess nodes.
I've only got 3 Axxess sites left, and they'll be upgraded by this summer!

Only 3- nice. I have over 500 Axxess systems I am trying to upgrade Nationwide.

None are budging...5 years from now probably 10%of them will upgrade.
