As far as I know, there is no upgrade path from Windows XP to Windows 7. Windows 7 would require a clean OS install, then all the software and driver installs.
Toshiba sells an upgrade kit for MAS R3 that, as I understand, is a hard drive swap (unless it is a raid 1).
Now Raid 1 is only sold with Server 2008. There is an upgrade from XP Raid 1 MAS to Server 2008 also sold by Toshiba.

Correct. Toshiba does not provide an upgrade path from XP to 7 while keeping the same unit unless you got an R3 unit. However, it still can be done with a clean OS and software install even for the micro mas.

hey, i recently posed this same question to our vendor and apparently there is a specific "voice driver" that is unsupported (in win7 i guess). did you find a way around this?
without knowing my way around the system enough to try to do the upgrade/data transfer myself, i'd need vendor help to do it. maybe if you posted the trick to getting the difficult component(s) functioning he'd be willing to help with an upgrade.
my other concern would be, would toshiba support it (under contract) if it is running windows 7? or would they refuse to support it since its not a standard configuration.
if we can't put 7 on it, i see two options: 1. put it and the CIX on a separate vlan, and add some strict firewalling that only allows ACD traffic through. 2. fork out the $$ and upgrade to a new MAS as our vendor suggested
also, which version of windows did you have success with? 32-bit/64-bit? home or professional?
thanks, -matt
